Five stars is not near enough, as EJ came out and checked out our heater and AC. Learned a lot, no upsell whatsoever. Simply the best.

Got a referral to Reitz Heating and Air from a good friend and couldn't be happier. EJ was prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional. Service and pricing were both beyond exceptional and the repairs were far less significant than I feared. Thanks again EJ and Suzanne, you are the best!

I highly recommend EJ and his daughter. We had 3 previous estimates and he came in with the best price, along with great communication. They ended up finishing the job faster than expected so they adjusted our bill down - who does that?! I will use them again and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

I was in dire need of a mini split for my attached unit that I will be renting out. I had no less than 7 companies come out and present proposals/estimate to me. I had done my due diligence and researched companies head to tails. I chose Reitz heating and air. I was just gobsmacked with e.j. (i call him Elmer! ;) ) "he had me at hello" from his being on time for our appointment to his presentation and end result! even my puppy fell in love with him!!! from his demeanor, professionalism, honesty as well as his 'chill', e.j. is an extremely hard worker! results were amazing. no matter how many questions I had asked: he answered promptly and thoroughly!

I was also impressed with his apprentice, maddy. Maddy is e.j.'s daughter. he hope that one day she would take over the company when the time comes. both were energetic, enthusiastic, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. who could ask for more???

I will add, however, that e.j. was a few sheckels more than some other contenders (not by much). BUT in the scheme of things, I would take e.j.'s company over any other for the above reasons....and I DID AND I AM SOO HAPPY !!! you will be pleased as well. now I have to find more projects for them!!!!

After several frustrating encounters with large, overly sales-driven companies that pushed me toward unnecessary upgrades and gave me wildly different opinions on what I actually needed, I came across EJ on Nextdoor.

From the very first phone call, EJ stood out. Unlike others who immediately jumped to "replace the entire unit," EJ's first instinct was simply, let's take a look and see if we can fix this for now so you're not suffering in the heat. He came out a few days later, ran diagnostics, and even added a bit of Freon free of charge so our home could stay cool while we figured out next steps. At that point, I hadn't committed to going with him for the full replacement - he just wanted to help. That kind of integrity is rare.

When we did move forward with the replacement, EJ's quote wasn't necessarily the cheapest, and I had hesitations about brand (Innovair) I hadn't heard of before. But what mattered to me was trust. And EJ delivered. He and his daughter handled the installation over a day and a half. I could see that they worked with care, explained clearly, and left us with a system that runs well.

What gives me the most peace of mind is knowing that I can rely on EJ for years to come. He runs a family-owned business that truly embodies honesty, craftsmanship, and service. After so many negative experiences with companies that felt more like marketing machines than service providers, it feels good to finally have someone I can trust.

I called EJ based on his good reviews in my area. I only needed a service call to check my AC operation and efficiency; it had been years since the last service. He came out and ran some tests. He took an hour to explain how the system works and the benefits of upgrading or switching to a split system. It was NOT the hard sell but simply GOOD INFORMATION. He did not charge me anything. He's honest, knowledgeable and I'll definitely call him when it's time to replace my system. Thanks EJ!

EJ - What can I say? My central A/C has been noisy, short cycling, and generally a pain in the butt for the past year or so. Numerous companies have come out, and I get the same story every time. "Your A/C is old, and you need a completely new system."

I contacted EJ, and he came right out, determined I needed a new fan motor, ordered the part and installed it. Now the system is running better than it has done in years. EJ is honest, hard-working, and gets the job done. If you are looking for an HVAC guy, look no further.

EJ will be my only HVAC guy from this day forward.

EJ is always efficient and responsive to my A/C needs. He installed my A/C a few ago and has serviced it magnificently since. I recommend him to everyone that has an A/C. Wonderful small family owned business.

I saw many, many people recommending EJ on NextDoor, so I went ahead and gave him a call. Our house is older and only had a wall unit for AC. We knew we needed central AC for the coming summer. We met with about 5 different companies. EJ was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly to us. We had central heating and previous ductwork, so I wanted to utilize existing ducts. He didn't try to add more vents or ductwork and I liked that. A couple companies wanted to rip the house apart.

When the time came for install, EJ and Carlos were incredibly professional! It's always really nice to have people who make you feel at ease when they are inside your home! We have been enjoying our updated HVAC system a few days now and we are thrilled! I would recommend EJ and his crew to anyone! They do an outstanding job, and their work is very very neat and clean! I loved their respect for our home also!

Wow! EJ's knowledge, patience, and thoroughness is to be applauded. When contacted about our a/c going out, he called back almost immediately and explained steps to try. He then came over asap with his daughter and they fixed our issue efficiently. We have already recommended him to friends and family and will continue to use Reitz as needed. It is such a relief to find a business you can completely trust and count on. Above and beyond our expectations.
